Intelligent Design: Apparently the Almighty Creator of Everything Was an Idiot?

Arrogant intellectuals, scientists, academics and engineers all like to believe that they engage in “intelligent design,” which I would define as the creation of inventions and machines that are functional, easy to use, and simply make sense for human beings to take advantage of. And that may be so. For instance, the laptop computer that I am typing on right now is the product of intelligent human design.

Well then let me get this straight: the unimaginably intelligent Creator of everything we experience, including ourselves, thought it would be efficient to create a Sun that is 1) 93 million miles away, and 2) a so-called nuclear reaction whose radiations are actually harmful to the human beings and the Earth that the Sun was created to energize in the first place? Is there an intelligent designer in the history of humanity who would have designed it this way?

Ever heard of common sense? Use your reason. Wouldn’t it make more sense that the Intelligence that created everything would intelligently create a Sun that is 1) in local close proximity to the creation that it gives life to, and 2) a form of energy that is not only NOT a harmful nuclear reaction, but whose energy is highly beneficial to the human beings and the Earth that absorbs its rays?

That’s it. That’s the tweet.
